Inno 2008 - I'm in!

I'm sobbing as I write this, but these are very, very happy tears. I just heard that I have been juried into Innovative Threads 2008. I've entered three times and been accepted all three times. Could I interpret this as a sign that I absolutely must keep going through each day, not only for the sake of my children, but also for my art?

Excellent! Congratulations! Just keep on creating. Art is a wonderful healer. You might want to add 'The Soul's Palette' by Cathy A. Malchiodi, to your Kalahari wishlist. (Drawing on Art's transformative powers for health and well being.)

Hi Robyn- thanks!
I have The Soul's Palette :) It's great. I came to art via the route of depression, so art as therapy has always been a huge focus for me. But I liked the idea of the spiritual focus of the book you mentioned, since they're all rolled into one, really, like Julia Cameron's 'The Artists Way'. And I have lost the spiritual aspect in a big way over the last few years, just having to earn and be a breadwinner and all that. I want to get that back.

Your picture of your bookshelf had me sitting with my head turned to the right trying to read every title to see what you had! And in the art shop the other day while buying paints, I gazed at all the woodworking tools and thought of you!
